Quick PM Checklist
- Daily: Check the protective lens window before cutting. Replace immediately if it is burned, cracked, contaminated, or cannot be cleaned safely.
- Weekly: Inspect nozzle condition, ceramic ring, lens holder seal, O-rings, dust cover, and gas path for contamination or damage.
- After lens replacement: Confirm the drawer is seated correctly, keep the lens clean, and check beam quality before production cutting.
- When cutting quality changes: Review focus, nozzle centering, gas pressure, protective lens condition, and cutting head alarm history.
Maintenance Method
- Power down or follow your machine maker's service mode before opening the cutting head lens drawer.
- Work in a clean area. Wear powder-free gloves and avoid touching optical surfaces.
- Use only approved optical cleaning materials. Do not wipe a dry contaminated lens across the coating.
- Install the correct diameter and thickness for the exact Raytools model and lens holder position.
- After service, verify sealing, gas flow, nozzle alignment, and test cut quality before full production.
